    The IC693CPU350, a CPU Model 350, functions as an integrated controller, I/O system, and specialty module, engineered to meet the requirements of flexible industrial solutions. It boasts 32Kbytes of user memory, 4K I/O capacity, support for 8 racks, and a logic execution speed of 0.22 milliseconds per K. Compatible with advanced modules—including Ethernet, various bus modules, and control components—it features a unified architecture that makes it suitable for thousands of applications. These range from complex motion control, mining, and water treatment to elevator control, high-speed packaging, injection molding, material handling, food processing, and continuous emission monitoring, among others. By configuring only the necessary system components, users can save valuable space and reduce costs. Additionally, the IC693CPU350 adapts to diverse applications such as: digital interfaces (for push buttons, switches, proximity sensors, relays, contactors, and other devices); analog modules (with varying resolution levels for flow, temperature, or pressure applications); direct connect wiring or remote termination; and local or remote I/O systems.

    Equipped with built-in, user-enabled Ethernet communication, it supports both SRTP and Modbus TCP/IP protocols, providing a real-time connection for linked systems. Its scalable processing power allows users to build an optimal system for current needs while retaining the flexibility to upgrade to a more powerful setup in the future—without modifying existing software. Integrated motion control capabilities ensure high performance in point-to-point applications. Featuring a variety of fieldbus interfaces, the IC693CPU350 enables distributed control and/or I/O functionality, with users able to select from easy-to-install, quickly configurable fieldbus interface modules. Programmable via Proficy Logic Developer PLC-Machine Edition, it supports multiple programming languages, including Ladder Diagram (LDI), Instruction List (IL), Structural Text (ST), and C Block. It offers a cost-effective solution with redundant CPUs and power supplies, making it ideal for high-availability setups.

    The IC693CPU350 is a single-slot CPU module, accommodating one CPU baseplate plus 7 expansion and/or remote baseplates. It utilizes an 80386EX processor running at 25 MHz and operates within an ambient temperature range of 0 to 60 degrees Celsius (32 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit). This CPU delivers a typical scan rate of 0.22 msec/K and a maximum user program memory of 32K bytes. It includes a built-in serial port supporting SNP/SNP-X slave protocols, along with a LAN port compatible with multidrop, Ethernet, FIP, Profibus, GBC, GCM, and GCM+ option modules. The controller supports shift registers, override functions, a battery-backed clock, PCM/CCM compatibility, periodic subroutine interrupts, floating-point math, and both RAM and flash memory storage. It requires a 670-milliamp supply from a +5 VDC power source.
